Once logged into your book-a-doctor account, you will be able to indicate your anatomic area of concern, and select your own doctor based on reviews, proximity and availability. The final choice is always yours.
The promptness of your appointment using book-a-doctor depends on your flexibility with available times and geographic proximity. The more flexible you are, the quicker you can see an orthopedic doctor, possibly within 24 hours.
Once you select your doctor on book-a-doctor, visit the link for their practice website and review their specific practice requirements. Typically you should bring your driver’s license, insurance card (if applicable), copies of any relevant medical records, and imaging studies ( X-rays, MRI etc.).
Yes, you can schedule an appointment without insurance by simply selecting “self-pay” in the insurance field while signing up.
Yes, existing appointments can be modified within the app by following simple prompts.
All notifications, confirmations, and reminders are sent either through the notification portal of the app, via text to your mobile number, or to your email address, whichever you prefer.

Based on the filters you select, we provide a list of available doctors with appointments within your ideal time-frame, proximity, gender preference and within your insurance network if applicable.
Once you provide your insurance information, we make sure that your selection of available doctors are all within your allowed network.

To keep your health information secure, we recommend that you reach directly out to your doctor via their secure office platform. We do not collect or store any components of your private medical history.
At this time, book-a-doctor schedules in-person orthopedic doctor visits in real time and does not facilitate televisits.
Click the “Sign Up” button at the top of the homepage . Enter your name, mobile number, address and email. Choose your desired password. You will now be logged in with access to your profile at a glance. You can now add your gender, doctor’s gender preference, and your insurance provider.
